Preliminary Semester
The subjects of the Preliminary Semester are the following:
- Topics in Mathematics (IP-18fPRETMG, 8 hours, 8 credits)
- Introduction in computational thinking (IP-18fPREFICTG, 4 hours, 4 credits)
- Scratch Programming (IP-18fPRESPROGEG, 4 hours, 4 credits)
- Computers in practice (IP-18fPRECPEG, 2 hours, 2 credits)
- Intermediate English (IP-18fPREIMEG, 6 hours, 6 credits)
On top of these, every new student has to register for the course "Learning methodology" in their first semester (this course can be found in the BSc curriculum too).
No other subjects may be taken during the preliminary semester.
Preliminary courses can be used up later in BSc as elective courses (10 credits)!
If you complete the Preliminary Semester in an autumn semester, then you can start the BSc program in the spring semester. In this case, you will have to complete the courses in a different order from the usual. Please see:
